Episode One of Ride, an FEI Originals production, has just been released and is available now via FEI.tv
I was fortunate to produce and direct several features within the series before Covid struck, and was the project lead back in January. It's great to see how its turned out all these months later... the editing, filming and overall vibe of the series is something everyone who was involved should be rightly proud of.
The series opener has several powerful stories within, and its a cracker to say the least. It starts with the emotional story of US veterans coping with their traumas via horse therapy. We then jet to Adelaide and spend time with Megan Jones who recounts the drama of the bush fires that ravaged her neighborhood, and we conclude with a behind the scenes mega feature about the drama Mystic, filmed in New Zealand. Global to say the least!
The series goes beyond a stereotypical nature or horse themed project. It delves deep into the (at times emotional) relationship between us humans and the equestrian world.
