After a successful run on global networks with a home reach of over 300 million, 'RIDE' is now available on Youtube.
It seems a lifetime ago now, and lots has changed since filming for this terrific series began in January 2020. Below are the stories I directed for this FEI project while working for IMG, with some truly emotional moments captured within.
Harry Marshall's story is unveiled on the link below... his bravery on facing up to PTSD due to his experiences in Bosnia as a soldier is both thought provoking and inspiring. Filmed in Perth, Scotland across 2 days, it's a real visual treat and an incredibly moving narrative.
CBBC's high end drama 'Mystic' opened its doors to us for a behind the scenes look at the production when filming was in full flow in New Zealand. I spent 2 days in Auckland capturing candid moments with the cast and crew just before covid hit. Soon after filming concluded for this piece, the Mystic team had to draw its shutters down around their production. The New Zealand 'can do' attitude prevailed thankfully, and filming resumed at the first opportunity - resulting in a glorious looking series. We watched it as a family on the BBC religiously and enjoyed every frame of every second...! Here is a link to the behind the scenes story:
Do watch the Mystic series on BBC iPlayer if you missed it. You won't regret it!
The story of the Balmoral Equestrian Centre, which hosts riders of all ages and abilities can be watched here. Again, a bit of a tear-jerker this one! Filmed in Melbourne, Australia.
Finally, the story of Olympic medalist Megan Jones and her family who had a narrow escape from the bushfires that ravaged through Australia in 2019 and 2020. Filmed in Adelaide, we spent the day with Megan and her husband James as they recounted their near miss.
